ECC Corrosion, Inc. located in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, is an established composites manufacturer serving the food, pulp and paper, transportation, chemical and petrochemical, water and wastewater treatment, environmental compliance, mining, and power generation industries.

We seek a highly motivated individual with solid estimating experience and strong communication skills to join our team. We provided competitive salary based on qualifications and experience plus commission.

POSITION SUMMARY

Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to solicit and increase sales of the Company's products and services. Works with customers to determine their need for Company products, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. Coordinates and prepares complete estimates and quotations for complex tank, piping and field service projects. Analyzes post production costs and uses data to inform future project estimates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:

1. Estimate material and labor costs for manufacturing and field service projects in response to requests for proposals and prepare detailed quotations based on analysis of project specifications, pricing schedules for labor and materials, and historical data.

2. Review estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy, create and document customer accounts, and obtain pricing for materials and bids from subcontractors.

3. Regularly, frequently, and diligently solicit, contact and meet with customer prospects to solicit sales of the Company’s products and services, including site visits to attend pre-bid meetings and gather information to accurately quote projects.

4. Communicate and meet with customers and work with outside sales representatives to negotiate and close sales transactions on terms and conditions established by or otherwise acceptable to the Company.

5. Review purchase orders for consistency with Company quotations, terms and conditions.

6. Establish and maintain professional relationships with customer and key vendor contacts and personnel, including purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel.

7. Maintain quote logs and sales information in CRM databases.

8. Prepare and deliver sales presentations and materials directly to customers or in coordination with outside sales representatives.

9. Assist with development and updating social media and online marketing and website to inform and attract potential customers.

10. Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Education and/or Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years of both sales and estimating experience. Experience in the corrosion resistant composites industry or other industrial estimating experience strongly preferred. Experience with customer relation management software and applications, social media applications and other online marketing a plus.

Skills and Abilities: Able to rely on experience and good judgment to plan and accomplish duties and goals; able to perform a variety of complex tasks; excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills; able to read, analyze, and interpret detailed specifications, blueprints and schematic drawings; able to read, analyze, able to write reports, able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public; must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills; able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; must have knowledge of word processing, power point and spreadsheet software.

Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. Percentage of travel required is 30%.
